I/O Linc 2450

Featured Replies

I have an I//O linc which I trigger the sensor by closing a electrical/mechanical relay.

Then I have an ISY program that tells the I/O to turn off my outside lights when the I/O sensor turns on. That all works fine.

However, the opposite function doesn't work: I cannot get the light to turn back on when the I/O sensor turns OFF! The program to do this is simple; but it doesn't do anything.

Any thoughts?

Post your program.

This program works fine.

This next program, when enabled, makes the lights come on right after they go off; it should turn them on when the LightoRama - Sensor goes off.

I have also taken out the time requirement, and it still doesn't work.

I thought maybe the I/O Linc was not in latching mode, but it is. Besides, doesn't that just pertain to the relay, not the sensor?

Thanks for your help.

1) Is the light output affecting the sensor status?  (light goes off -> sensor goes off -> program turns light back on)

Test by controlling a different device or indoor light.

2) Is there another program controlling the lights? (you can search by right clicking in programs for usage of device 'outside / eaves')

3) If you are really controlling the lights using the relay output of the I/O linc ("Then I have an ISY program that tells the I/O to turn off my outside lights");

do you have "Relay Follows Input" selected in the device options?
