tahoe Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I have an OutletLinc 2473S receptacle controlling a small plug in heater. It's programmed to turn on for two hours at bedtime. I also wanted to "manually" control it from a wall switch. So I installed a SwitchLinc 2476S wall switch in an existing location and simply nutted off the "load" wire. I linked it into the system as a controller to the outlet. It works perfectly. Here's my question - Is there a cheaper way or did I simply do something that everyone else does all the time? I thought of a keypad or the Icon but for a single switch, this works perfectly.
Brian H Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 That is what most do. An Icon may have been slightly cheaper, but the LED on the ones I have are Yellow or Green. Also no bargraph of the LEDs. Just the one that glows when it is Off.
