Release 4.9 is a very minor maintenance release the only purpose of which is to fix the Default SMTP server issue. Please consider trying 5.3.2 which is our next gen firmware and packed with features and enhancements including support for a variety of Weather Services through ISY Portal, assigning device states to variables and back, Polyglot which integrates with so very many other things, and Z-Wave multi channel support. Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK 2. Please use the ISY Launcher to login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Automatically Upgrade [the name of your system] Or, if yo wish to actually download the firmware and install it manually: -- 2m1. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 994i Series including Z-Wave Support - Note: With this firmware, ISY will go into Safe Mode if the PLM fails ISY 994i ZW, Z, or ZS Series (Z-Wave/Zigbee and/or if you do NOT have a PLM - Note: With this firmware, ISY does not go into Safe Mode if the PLM Fails. As such, with this firmware, Z-Wave/ZigBee will continue to work even if the PLM fails or is disconnected -- 2m2. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] -- 2m3. Choose the file saved in step 2 3. Log back in using the ISY Launcher.
