mserrar Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Hi, When I open the Admin console I get : Socket Open Failed Java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsExceptions: String index out of range: 4 I press Ok and then I get a popup that says Starting Subscription, and it stays like that forever. Any help troubleshooting this? I am using ISY 994i/IR PRO (1110) , on version v.5.0.16c Thanks
rsgeyer Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 I encountered this same problem using ISY Finder. In working with Universal-Devices, it was isolated to my virus software (Check Point's ZoneAlarm). The only thing we could do was to put another entry in ISY Finder (https://isy/desc) which is much slower loading all the ISY data, but it does get around the "out of range" exception. By the way, I'm running ISY994i Pro on version 5.3.1.
jds31 Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 There is a setting under premium protections in the antivirus portion of Zone Alarm. Turn off enable web monitoring. This stops the problem. I turn it off before opening the admin console then back on when done.
