Hi All, I received and er ISY product to play around with and try things i don't want to try on my main system but i'm running into some issues.
here's the product info:
Product:    (1020) ISY 99i 256
App:        Insteon_UD99
Platform:   ISY-C-99
Version:    2.7.0
Build Date: 2009-02-13-16:08:25
Other Services:

So far I can telnet to it, i can see it in the ISY Launcher but cant access the admin parts, i cant register it in my isy account

Is it possible that the firmware is to out of date to connect in the launcher?
I've reset it a few times but still cant seem to get access to upgrade the firmware (currently 2.0.7)

Also when ever i telnet to it I get "--- Currently in SAFE MODE, some services are not running ---"
Any ideas?

That thing is pretty much worthless beyond being a paperweight. Its been discontinued for years and hasn't seen a firmware update in over 5 years. Definitely wouldn't work with the launcher. 

If you do not have a PLM hooked up to it, it will be in safe mode. 

You may want to look in the UDI Wiki for some information. It has all kinds on information in it.   https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page

The Safe Mode indicates. You have no PLM (2412S or 2413S) found when the ISY99i is powering up.

It could be possible you cant register the unit. As it was discontinued years ago.

If you do get it going. 3.3.10 is the last firmware released for it. So the recently released Insteon Modules would not be supported. Like a Siren Module as an example.
