Posted November 3, 200717 yr Hello all: I'm trying to do some troubleshooting with the ISY on my network. I would like to know what users are generally seeing for how long it takes the ISY GUI take to report back after a device query, or for that matter, a device level change or ramp change? When I turn a Lamplinc or Appliancelinc On or OFF, the device (Lamplinc or Appliancelinc) activity light will usually only blink once, But for device queries (or ramp/level changes), the device activity light will blink about 6 times, and the "System Busy" status bar will be visible for about 3 to 4 seconds. I'm just wondering if what I'm seeing is "normal". Thanks a lot for any feedback.
November 3, 200717 yr That sounds about right. Changing a level would only be one shot, to query a device will include reading the level as well as any settings in the device. The more links in a device the longer it will take. Rand
