DirkM Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 I managed to break ISY on Polisy to the point where it's completely invisible. Not found anymore in ISY Launcher/Finder. Not via IP address. Not via Polisy. Polisy is fine though. I tried resetting Polisy which removed all my nodes and reset the password but did not remove/reset ISY and ISY is still nowhere to be found. Tried sudo service status isy but only get status does not exist in /etc/rc.d or the local startup directories (/usr/local/etc/rc.d), or is not executable. I'm a Linux Noob but based on this I would say ISY is installed: [admin@polisy /]$ uname -a FreeBSD polisy 13.0-RELEASE-p4 FreeBSD 13.0-RELEASE-p4 #13 releng/13.0-n244760-940681634ee: Wed Aug 25 16:44:58 UTC 2021 ec2-user@bsdev.isy.io:/usr/obj/usr/src/amd64.amd64/sys/POLISY amd64 [admin@polisy /]$ pkg_info -bash: pkg_info: command not found [admin@polisy /]$ sudo pkg update Password: Updating FreeBSD-base repository catalogue... While I can't answer you're question, I can tell you that "sudo service isy status" is what you want to run to see the status of the ISY service under FreeBSD which is the OS Polisy uses. Also, trying running "sudo service pg3 status" to see the status of the Polyglot v3 service. Edited November 20, 2021 by DaveStLou
DirkM Posted November 20, 2021 Author Posted November 20, 2021 Thanks, Dave, I made some progress this morning. Resetting Polisy without PLM brought ISY back to life. Running sudo service isy status now returns isy is running as pid 1116. Running sudo service pg3 status returns pg3 does not exist in /etc/rc.d or the local startup directories (/usr/local/etc/rc.d), or is not executable though. After I was able to find ISY I reconnected the PLM and restarted Polisy and everything seems to be still working. I added some NodeServers and see them appearing in ISY and I was able to link an Insteon switch. The only thing missing for now is ISY Portal. The portal thinks Polisy is offline, Help / manage Modules says everything is up to date but I don't see Portal Integration as product listed under About (was working before I messed everything up). I also don't have Portals under configuration anymore. Tried to remove and re-add Polisy from/to Portal but still the same.

DirkM Posted November 22, 2021 Author Posted November 22, 2021 Thanks, MrBill, did both with no change. Manage Modules comes back with all up to date and Portal is missing ini the Configuration tab, so nothing to accept.
DirkM Posted November 22, 2021 Author Posted November 22, 2021 Michel fixed it on the server side (I suppose), after that Manage Modules prompted to install ISY Portal and it's all good again. 1

I am also missing the Portals Tab and I get the Your Modules are up to date! message. If I go to My Products on the Universal Device My Account web page and click the Modules button, it tell me it is Not a valid serial number. @Michel Kohanim, open a Ticket? Nevermind, I was using the wrong web site. Edited January 6, 2022 by Whitehambone My brain was not working...
Michel Kohanim Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 @Whitehambone, Yes, please and include your UUID. With kind regards, Michel
matthewjocko Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 @Michel Kohanim I am having the same issue as @DirkM where the portals tab is not showing on my ISY instance on polisy. When I use manage modules on the ISY it does not show portal. Can I send you my UUID?
Michel Kohanim Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 @matthewjocko, Of course and without a question. With kind regards, Michel
