Finally Upgraded to 5.0.16C – Insteon Keypad Buttons No Longer Sync (via Porgrams)

Hi guys,

I finally upgraded my ISY994 from 4.5.4 to 5.0.16C and overall everything still seems to work. I can control all of my Insteon devices right from the admin console. However, my programs that used to keep my Insteon Keypad button status in sync with the device status don't seem to work anymore. Previously I had it set up that if I turn on an Insteon light remotely the physical Insteon keypad button would also turn on. That way the buttons and lights were always in sync no matter if the light was turned on via the physical button or remotely.

This is how one of the programs for the "Art Light" looks:

And here you can see the device tree:

I'm not sure why this simple program no longer executes after upgrading to version 5. Is this no longer the recommended way to keep an Insteon Button Light status in sync with the device?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I see that you fixed it issue. I utilize Insteon scenes and the protocol keeps them in sync almost instantly if you have good comms. This is especially true if all devices are dual band.

Were you getting cases where remote device did not set keypad button light that were in a scene together or you don’t use scenes with keypad button and remote device are in a scene together?
