What is the real meaning of "Wakeup interval" for a Z-wave battery-powered device?

Featured Replies

Added a new battery-powered door/window sensor (WNK-DW1), and noticed the default for "Wakeup interval" is 0 seconds.   Is this normal and/or reasonable?   Will adjusting this improve battery longevity?

That's just what the Isy shows not what the device is set to.

Every mfg. has different default settings that's built into the device. You'll want to check the full manual to see where they have it set to by default and whether you would want to change it on not.
