ISY and Elk integration - having problems

Featured Replies

Posted

I had this working once, but then I started having problems.

In Elk I have both ports enabled 2101 and 2106

In ISY if I have 2101 selected nothing works

In ISY if I have 2106 selected the Elk login info in the ISY screen flashes on and off.

Any suggestions?

I am using port 2601 and it works ok?

I do have 2101 enabled in Elk.

Let me switch the port to 2101 and see if that it why my keyfob will not trigger the lights

I am also seeing similar issues with the 2.7.9 alpha firmware -- unable to get the ELK to talk to the ISY-99.

Additionally, whenever I update the security code or the Elk configuration, the admin console complains of a socket error (the ISY seems to drop dead)...

The ISY will use the non-secure port (port 2101 by default). Your ElkRP software will likely use port 2601, which is the secure port.

You just want to make sure to have both enabled if you want to use your Elk with your ISY.

For what it's worth, I have been using 2.7.9a with my Elk and haven't had any problems as of yet.
