Will the Smartlinc 2412N (ethernet) work with the ISY to run my Insteon devices? I sure hope there's a way

Something about a horse and water springs to mind. Maybe you can use your usb Insteon dongle as an interface to Home Assistant or Homeseer and get going that way.

something about a wife that has 50% of the say, too.   I convinced her a little too late... that and we went out shopping, had guests and other things to do.

This is a "first world problem" as my wife likes to say.   no sour grapes... I WILL keep trying to fetch me up one of the Polisy units. I can wait. 

besides, I might even lose a little weight getting off my butt to actually hit the switch(es).

I bet they will be back in stock on Monday, I think the number on the website is simply what they have assembled, tested, packed and ready to go out the door.   You can also email sales@universal-devices.com to get your hands on one.
