Anyone else having this issue with Polisy and zwave?  It gets stuck like this trying to add devices until I reboot it.  I have never seen it just start when I am in the admin console but sometimes when I log in it will be busy trying to add zwave devices and constantly flashing up the system busy window.  I have also noticed that when it is not happening I do get zwave cannot communicate with device window popups for several devices at the same time randomly but that has been happening since I went zwave on Polisy.  But this new issue has popped up in the last three weeks or so but did not seem to coincide with any update.  Stop adding zwave device does not stop it either.  See image below.

Assuming that the devices were installed in the ISY, did you first Exclude them from the ISY before you tried to Include them in the Polisy?

It's possible that they still have some old link tables.

They were all installed by the Smartthings hub and the ISY is a secondary controller.  I did that back in the day because the door locks worked much better with ST as the controller.  But it has been running just fine for months with the Polisy.

No, I did not exclude them, I think I just restored them from the ISY backup.

Do an exclude / include. Start with the device closest to the Polisy and work out from there.

If the devices are included in programs, make sure you have a list as you will probably have to update the programs after the exclude/include process.

Currently there's no migration option to move Z-wave devices from the ISY to the Polisy, the only option is to exclude from the ISY, then include in the Polisy

That was what I was hoping not to have to do.  I remember having to do something similar when I converted.  Can I do that with ST as the primary?

What are the ZWave devices that seem to cause the issue?

What is firmware on the S2 ZWave stick?

Does not seem to be an issue with any particular device, it will just start adding.  How do I find the firmware on the stick?

To find the firmware version of the Z-wave dongle, set your event viewer to level 3 and click on Z-wave | Z-wave version in the admin console. The firmware version will then display in the event viewer.

Mine is not showing anything.  Also, I don't think I can just exclude/include since the ISY is not the primary.  Is that your understanding as well?

To get the S2 firmware version se the event viewer log to level 3 and then do a Z-Wave, Z-Wave version from the top menu. It will show in the log.

It looks like it is trying to add additional nodes to existing devices.

You can try freeze ISY nodes and see if that helps.

But since are running it as a secondary controller it may not be easy to troubleshoot the problem.

What firmware and UI version are you running on the Polisy

Are use using the Zooz ZST10 700 USB dongle, and not the 500?

Yes, the 700.

7.15 is the firmware.  Thanks for letting me know how to find that brian.

I will freeze and see if that helps.  Thanks!
