Programs no longer working after aborted Polisy install

Bought and installed a Polisy.  It died within minutes.   UD sent parts to repair, repaired, died again within minutes.    Removed it and returned it for a refund.

Meantime, now none of my programs will run.    I had done a backup prior to the Polisy install.  Restored that backup and still programs won't run.

Did the Polisy kill my ISY?

There's no interaction between the ISY and the Polisy so one has no effect on the other unless you reset your PLM

What is your ISY firmware and UI version?

Make sure that your PLM is plugged into Port A on the ISY

Remove the power from the PLM, remove power from the ISY

Then power up the PLM, wait about 30 seconds then power up the ISY

Let me know if it's now working.

Also if you married the PLM to your Polisy then ditched the Polisy and went back to the ISY994 then you will have to restore the PLM to the ISY994.

In other words If you Restored a backup from ISY994 to the new Polisy, then hooked the PLM back up to the ISY994, then you need to restore the PLM back to the ISY994.

Sorry for the delayed followup.   Too busy to deal with this.  Found some time this week.
ISY firmware and UI = v.5.3.4
PLM is plugged into Port A on ISY
Unplugged both ISY and PLM for 24 hours (not intended, but that's the way things go sometimes)
Powered up PLM.  Took about 20 minutes to get back to it and power up the ISY.

No change.

Restored the PLM from the ISY.
No change.

Tried a new program, from scratch.  Just a simple "turn this light on at this time".   It does not run.

After the aborted polisy install, the ISY has been restored with a pre-polisy backup and the PLM has been restored.    No programs will run.   The only program that shows green is the "Query" that should run at 3pm and 3am.  Not sure how to check if it is running.    All other programs show red icons, even if they are currently in the criteria that should make them active.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

Its restore PLM AND restore devices

Did you factory reset your ISY994 by chance?  I'm just making a guess... if you did there's probably some extra steps to get back to normal... reload the firmware the backup was created in, then restore backup.

Other than that, you're really in "open a ticket with support" territory.   User to user advice for this type of thing isn't good because catastrophic events don't happen routinely to other users.

I did not factory reset, although I'm considering it.     It's just stupid.  Only the programs don't work.  ISY is communicating with and correctly reporting the state of over 300 items. I can turn anything and everything on and off via the control panel and via Agave apps, but none of the programs will run.   No changes were made, other than installing the Polisy and synching it with the ISY (or trying to, that was one of the issue with the polisy before it died, that it wouldn't retain the user/pwd for the ISY)

Plugged polisy in, accessed it via a browser, played with some settings including trying to synch the ISY, then polisy died.   That's when programs stopped working, that evening.   I do not believe in coincidence.    Waited a week or so for rescue from tech support, make repair to polisy, powered it up, downloaded the one polygot that was the entire reason for buying polisy in the first place, restarted polisy, polisy never restarted. Dead again.   Removed it.  Sent it back.

There is zero question that the Polisy installation is responsible, but now that it's gone, why can't I get this damn thing to go back to how it was?     Nuts.   Probably going to do a factory reset and start from scratch, which will be 3 months work with my current schedule.

Thanks for the help guys, I'll report back if I ever get it fixed.

Is this an insteon only installation? It's surprising that you aren't having more issues since the PLM can only effectively handle around 900 links. It doesn't make any sense that the isy shows devices changing state but not programs.

Post some screen shots  of some of the non running programs maybe we can see something that you're missing

@bretta do NOT factory reset.

My initial reaction is I suspect a folder condition.  Could you post a screenshot of your program tree.  Make sure status icons is set to detailed (right click a program name to find that).

Highlighted program is one that was running up until the day of Polisy install.  Yes, I'm aware a number of these are set to disabled.  That is intentional and not the cause of the complaint.

If you run the then what happens?

Try adding a wait between commands. With the amount of devices, your PLM may be having a hard time processing what it needs to
