Light switch controls t-stat temp setting

At my business I installed a t-stat and a switch on the main office lighting. When the employees come in and turn on the lights, it turns the heat up. When they leave and turn off the lights the heat is set back.

 

It's working like a dream and the heat is never left on accidentally.

 

(I didn't simply program in a schedule because some of the employees come and go at odd hours.)

 

I'm going to set up my "all off" KPL switch at home to set back the heat too...

This is a great idea!

 

I am going to get one of the Venstar stats soon and start doing stuff like this.
