mjrush Posted June 17, 2022 Share Posted June 17, 2022 I have one and it seems to work with IoP. The node names that are created are confusing. I tried to put it inside the metal mailbox and that did't work very well. I ended up using a window sensor on the side of the mailbox with a magnet on the lid. mjrush Posted June 17, 2022 Share Posted June 17, 2022 Reception was the problem. I thought maybe when the lid was opened, the sensor would be able to transmit. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Placing the sensor on the top worked but it's ugly and would get the afternoon Arizona sun.
