What do I need to do to get node servers to show up on IoP?

Over the last few days, I have upgraded my Polisy Pro to the latest software and migrated my PG2 node servers to PG3.  I have these node servers working fine on the ISY994.  I have also installed node servers on the IoP, but they do not show up as node servers when I log into the admin console of the Polisy.  What do I need to do to get these node servers to show up on IoP?

When I click on "ISYs" on the web interface, I see both.  The first is the IoP and the second one is the ISY994.  When I select the first, I can see the node servers installed on the IoP and when I select the ISY994, I see the node servers installed for the ISY994.  When I go into the admin console of the ISY994, I have all of the node servers, however, in the admin console of the IoP, none of the node servers are there.

I have tried to manually configure one of the node servers on the IoP admin console, but it still doesn't show up.  I've deleted nodes for that node server on the PG3 web interface pointing to the IoP, and rediscovered them, but still nothing on the admin console.

@Chris McKean It's possible that your password for the setup for the IoP is not correct and it's not able to make the connection to the IoP process. If you edit the IoP do you see the eye/show icon (seen in the link posted above). Review your password to IoP to confirm it's what you use when you open admin console for IoP.

I'm not much help with reading logs, but review the main logs for PG3 and see if there are some errors trying to connect to IoP.

Perhaps @bpwwer can help with an idea of what to look for if Polyglot is not able to sign into the IoP to setup the nodes.

If nothing is being sent to the IoP then last attempt would be to remove the current IoP settings and set it up again. Being sure to add user/pass for the IoP specifcially. You'll get a warning that things will be removed. So if you've setup IoP make sure you make a backup so you can restore if you remove the IoP.

Currently there several different areas you need to enter passwords and each one might be different.

I actually checked username password after sending my latest response.  It turns out that the IoP was set up with admin/admin on the web interface, so I corrected that.  However, it didn't make any difference.  Should I remove all of the node servers and reinstall them on IoP?  Since I only have three node servers on the IoP, I will give that a try and see if that fixes it.

@Chris McKean glad you got them working! Probably didn't need to remove them, but perhaps could have restarted polyglot for it to force the connection to the IoP once the credentials were correct.

PG3 isn't very good about aborting the installation when something is wrong.   In this case, PG3 tried to install the node on the IoP, failed and continued on as if it was successful.   The only way to fix it was to remove the node server and re-install it once the credentials were correct.

I've done some work for the next release of PG3 so it should handle this case better by aborting the install so you aren't left thinking it was successful when it really wasn't.
