koko Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 Yeah, afraid I've had similar issues. Used to program using the normal UD interface (old one) and then they released an "update". Wow, now I can no longer program or control anything. Constant errors,"socket open fail, i/o error proxy device was forcibly closed" blah blah. God, I long for the old interface. The new one is incomprehensible and yes, I am no geek, but I used to have no problem. Just log into the isy and boom you have the whole interface, programmable, testable, system settings. WAS all good. Hey UD, go back to what worked. New version is garbage - or maybe debug until a "quarter" geek can figure it out like your first interface.

Since all others use these interfaces with complete success, it suggests you have something not set quite right. What version of ISY are you running? 1
MrBill Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 @koko Please give us your details: model number, and firmware and UI versions. Approx how old is the equipment? The design of the admin console hasn't changed much..... We need to get the bottom of the issues you are having and better understand what changes to the interface you are speaking of. 3

What version of ISY are you running? Not true. I had the same problem with one of my systems. Went on for months. Only solution was to upgrade my ISY when an upgrade became available. Paul

OP also seems to think that the interface changed dramatically... which it hasn't... we need to explore this part: 13 hours ago, koko said: Used to program using the normal UD interface (old one) and then they released an "update". Wow, now I can no longer program or control anything Even with the jump from v4 to v5.. the interface didn't really change alot... 2 1
