Best way to connect to ISY?

Featured Replies

Hello, I have had the ISY994I for years, but since everything is setup I don't connect to the console very often. But when I do need to connect I have to be honest I always have a h*** of a time connecting. Firefox and Edge won't connect to the ISY because Java is not enabled so that means I have to use Internet Explorer which we all know is going away. But that is even a pain. I just tried to connect and it asked me to install the Active X Control and then Windows blocked me from doing it because the address is intrusted. This is so frustrating every time I go in I run into this and then I forget how I got in the last time. Am I doing something wrong here? Please tell me there is a HTML 5 version that has eliminated the need for Java??? Am I doing it the old way and things have changed? Any help would be appreciated. Also can you post a link for a new user guide as I might be doing this an old way. Everything is still working though :) Thanks.

Please read the wiki for the steps you need to perform:

In 2018 the process changed to use what is called ISY launcher so it is not dependent on any browser being needed to launch admin Consol. All you need is a standard version of Java that you download directly from java.com. Make sure that you clear Java cash before proceeding on any steps in the above wiki.
