mmoore99 Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 I have a Mini Remote (part number2342-2) whose device address label has been destroyed. Is there a way to add this device to the ISY without knowing the device address?
Solution kzboray Posted November 11, 2022 Solution Posted November 11, 2022 (edited) I don't have access to a mini-remote atm, but if you manually link it to a device that has been added to AC, you should then be able to see the min-remote address in AC. After linking them manually, I would recommend you factory reset both devices and instead re- link them in AC.Manual Linking:1) Tap Mini Remote scene button of choice2) Press and hold Mini Remote set button until it beepsMini Remote LED will start blinking green3) Turn responder on (or any other state such as on 50% or even off)4) Press and hold responder set button until it double-beepsMini Remote will double-beep and its LED will stop blinking5) Test by tapping Mini Remote scene button just programmedResponder load will respond appropriately Edited November 11, 2022 by kzboray 2

I followed your directions and have manually linked the Mini Remote to a device that has been added to AC but am not finding the Mini Remote in AC. Can you tell me where to look in AC to find it? Thanks.
