Serial PLM Kit and 2413S

What is the correct connection for the Serial PLM Kit with a 2413S  into Polisy Pro?

Eth > Serial adapter > serial to USB > usb port on Polisy

or

Eth > Serial adapter > serial port on Polisy

I think either will work on polisy. I'm using it with serial port directly but no reason USB shouldn't work. I think eisy only has usb though so that's the only way.

The Polisy supports the following PLMs: 2412S and 2413S through the DB9 connector on the back. 2413U and 2448A7 through the USB port on the back

For the 2412S or 2413S. The PLM serial connector is a network style RJ45 with serial signals on it. As linked to in the previous reply.

There was a cable with the needed RJ45 to DB9S inside the boxes shipping material. Material not marked so many missed it or tossed it with the empty box.

There are some custom cables construction posts here also.

I ordered the Serial PLM Kit from UI.  So I've got it all setup now thanks to the advice above.  I'm using the serial port!
