The Polyglot Version 3 Node Server for Kasa TP-Link 3.0.21 is released.

See the README for more information, including information on moving from PG2.

The Release Notes are also available.

Locked since 3.1.0 is out

It does not show version number.  I confirmed its the correct installed.  Before this it showed 3.0.18 and now no version but it is 3.0.20.  I attached screenshot and log.

See it just shows production and not the version number.

I noticed the same thing on most of my node servers. Awhile back, PG3 quit displaying the version number. 5 out of my 6 node servers just show production like you show in your screenshot

thanks for your message.

we will have to see what @bpwwer says about this.

May be a bug or may be intentional.  If intentional then how can we tell what version we have.  I dont see it anywhere else?

if it is any help to @bpwwer. I have 6 nodesevers running.

Kasa, Rainmachine, Flume, weather link, wireless tags, and Yolink.

Yolink is the only one displaying the version number.

I am running 3.1.18 have been leery of upgrading, due to some issues I have seen, as this version is very stable.

I am running on Polisy and 3.1.18 is the latest for Polisy.  Are you running on EISY?  If so then yes there is an upgrade.

I am only running ONE of your other nodeservers (WirelessTags)

It shows version for me.   See screenshot

I also just updated one other nodeserver and it shows the latest version so its not an update issue.

I should have mentioned it. I am on a polisy too.

Here are 2 captures Screenshot2023-03-20at8_20_39AM.png.0e720948023277e4778e4e4f40c18bef.pngScreenshot2023-03-20at8_20_11AM.png.49ffae598bc0c5087158814dd40acd73.png

The latest version of Polisy is for EISY only so you should be at the latest

I have a DEV polisy.  I did not have KASA on it.  I installed it.  Watched it come up and SAID VERSION for about 5 seconds and then it goes away and just says production.

Not sure whats going on.  Strange.  But I confirmed its not my polisy or pg3 for sure or an upgrade issue

This should be fixed in the latest interface module for node servers.

However, this isn't something that can be easily pushed out. Basically all node servers need to be modified to require the new module.

For PG3 on Polisy's it only gets updated when a node server is installed that requires the new version of the interface module.

For PG3x on eisy's, each node server install loads a separate copy of this module. So each would have to be modified and then re-installed.

Over time, as node servers are modified, they'll get the updated version.

I assume when a new update comes out for the ones that are not showing it, it will alert you have a new version. I also view by date and can see that way if a new version has come out most of the time

I had another nodeserver updated yesterday.  When I updated it, I had the same issue.

I had another (nonrelated) issue and had to restart pg3.  They all came back with versions.

@stevehoyt Did you try restarting pg3?  Not update- just restart it from the menu in Pg3

Did you click refresh store? It only automatically updates occasionally.

I did and in the store it shows that the ns was updated today. However in the dashboard there is no update message and even when I restart the ns anyway, it remains on 20. Not at all urgent for me, but just fyi.

My store shows last update was 3/19 and it was 20.  No sign of 21 but I have seen it take hours.

I am running on Polisy not EISY so the latest version there is 3.1.19
