jaysonc Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 A small update has been released for both eK Pro and eK ISY to address a few issues that escaped testing in the major point release. - Improvements in responsiveness of favorites screen - Fix to unhide hidden IP Video configurations (eK Pro only) - Fixes to show correct item titles when changing systems (eK Pro Only) - Miscellaneous bug fixes
bTwix Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I have eK M1, can I upgrade to eK Pro? What is the upgrade cost? Any plans for an iPad version? eK M1 has been great, just want to add iSY support. Thanks, Phil
jaysonc Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 Phil, I do have an entry in the roadmap for adding an application upgrade capability, but to be honest several other items have been given a higher priority by the users and installers. Unless something changes I would expect it will come no sooner than the end of summer. I am already working on some designs to take full advantage of the iPad. At this point, the eKeypad roadmap is for a two phased approach to the iPad. First, In the next month or two I will be releasing a free update to the existing iPhone applications that will make them iPad aware. This will allow eKeypad to leverage the full size of the iPad screen, but will retain the current GUI look and feel. Secondly, I am working on an iPad specific version of eKeypad. This will allow me to completely redesign the user interface to take full advantage of the iPad screen size and other hardware benefits. While I am very early in the design, you can expect a move from the stock iPhone interface controls toward custom graphics and new screen layouts to fully utilize the iPad screen size. This optimized version will need a new license. Lots of new things coming this year to eKeypad!
Traditore Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Count me among the people who would very much like to upgrade his eKeypad M1 to eKeypad Pro. If I remember correctly, back in the days, the only difference between the M1 and Pro versions was IP camera support. Now, I can't see myself buying a second and separate app.
