RichTJ99 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Hi, I have some new grass & a spinkler controller. When the unit is powered the valve opens & the water comes out. When the power goes off the valvue closes & the water stops. I have a section of my yard I want to water & it is connected to the appliance link. So, how would I make the unit power on every 60 minutes, only stay on for 10 minutes, then shut off until the next 60 minute period happens. I would want to do this from say, 7am until 8pm. If Time is 7:00:00AM Then Repeat 11 times Set 'Outside: Sprinkler' On Wait 10 minutes Set 'Outside: Sprinkler' Fast Off Wait 1 hour Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Thanks, Rich
Michel Kohanim Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Hi Rich, What you have is correct with one exception: you have to use From 7AM to 8PM otherwise your program will stop in the middle at about 7:10. With kind regards, Michel
RichTJ99 Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 Does that mean if I did a repeat of 12 times, that would do what I am looking for?
Sub-Routine Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Hi Rich, No, that means the program will quit running when it is not 7AM. Do you want the second wait to be only 50 minutes? Rand Does that mean if I did a repeat of 12 times, that would do what I am looking for?
RichTJ99 Posted May 1, 2010 Author Posted May 1, 2010 I am looking for it to run for 10 minutes every hour. I think its doing that though I may change it to 8 minutes as its getting pretty wet back there.
Sub-Routine Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Then you want the two Waits to add up to 60 minutes. The way it is now the sprinkler will run at 7:00, 8:10, 9:20, etc. I am looking for it to run for 10 minutes every hour. I think its doing that though I may change it to 8 minutes as its getting pretty wet back there.
