I am able to access my isy994i just fine via java from "C:\Program Files\OpenWebStart\javaws.exe" "http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/5.3.3/admin.jnlp" from both ubuntu and Windows 10.

I have acquired an Eisy to complete my upgrade migration and added it to wifi network but I am unable to access from either ubuntu and windows 10 via desktop access

"C:\Program Files\OpenWebStart\javaws.exe" "https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp"  as while the iox loader window opens,

whether I choose admin console lan or admin console cloud, the admin console window never opens.

I also have this issue with isy access window if I attempt to access via "C:\Program Files\OpenWebStart\javaws.exe" "https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp"

from Windows I've cleared C:\Users\Windows\AppData\Local\Temp. per https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Admin_Console_Minimized/Invisible_and_Cannot_be_Restored

I have reinstalled java 8 Update 391 (jre-8u391-windows-x64)  without change but I cannot access the device like I am expecting.  Can you please identify how to fix?

I can access ud mobile via the android app but instructions do not provide for using as requires admin console per wiki

Thanks,

For Windows 10, Clear your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes. then download the IoX Launcher from here:

https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp

This will place the IoX Launcher on your desktop.

done.  rebooted. no change.

If you have a firewall try disabling it.

You can also try deleting the temporary files located at: C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Temp

Delete the following files, If that doesn't fix things then open a support ticket.

seems I was able to access via local ip launch from "C:\Program Files\OpenWebStart\javaws.exe" "https://192.168.1.111:8443/admin.jnlp"

Why? Since 2018 the suggested method has been to use the IoX Launcher (formerly ISY Launcher). Downloading the start.jnlp file linked above by @Techman is all that is needed for reliable loading for Windows (and usually MacOS). Access via other OS (as you said you also use ubuntu) has been documented elsewhere on the forums. While not as "easy" it possible. Just have to figure out how to do it. And if you're running ubuntu then hopefully you're able to figure that out.

But basically the start.jnlp/IoX Launcher process replaces the "need" to have a version specific "admin.jnlp" file.
