I have purchased a eisy and installed it. A few deviations from the script but I am unable to restore the isy994i backup to the eisy. Originally the app complained about not getting to the file that I had it on my iCloud Drive. I think I have my portal licenses set as I see both units with my ISY Portal login. It appears that I can back the eisy up and restore from a java/IoX Launcher. I installed current version on a MacBook Air (with the M chip) and loaded the appropriate java and the IoX Launcher. I see both the isy and eisy from my app and the launcher.  The isy is at latest code 5.3 version and the eisy is 5.8. I can successfully backup the eisy to the iCloud Drive and I appears to also restore it. 

When I attempt the restore of the eisy it doesn't complain but it goes away from the app and I must add it again. I must have some permissions wrong or I don't understand the process. 

I searched the forum but any vague searches return too many hits or I just may not be asking the right argument to find my answer.

 

 

I opened a ticket and it appears that my old iMac system that I used for the admin console was not creating the correct or at least the current desired backup file from my 994i. Problem solved..
