2413S to 2413U

Hi,

I had a PLM go bad. It was a hard few weeks of troubleshooting, but replacing the 2413s with an old one I had as a backup corrected the problem. Due to the age of the spare 2413s and the pain I had to go through, I want to get a new PLM from Insteon. I want to eliminate the serial converter and go directly to a 2413u. Are there any easy changes required to switch to the 2413u?

Thanks,

John

Should be as easy as following the replace modem process in the wiki.

Knowing that many have done this with the release of the eisy there have been a few posts of issues they faced. I would expect those that didn’t have issues just don’t post.

Since you just replaced the PLM if you didn’t have issues then it should be the same process, but plugging in the USB PLM. As always UD is available for support if you run into issues.
