jpoje Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 (edited) Yesterday, I started receiving the following error when trying to create a new scene in eIsy IoX (admin console): Error: Add Scene Incomplete (name of scene) [-2000000/-14] This error reminded me of a similar error I received (a long time ago) on ISY994i (unable to add new scene). It was recommended I upgrade to "PRO" version of ISY994i, which I did, and solved that issue. So what does this error mean on eIsy and how do I correct it? Thanks! Edited July 2, 2024 by jpoje

jpoje Posted July 2, 2024 Author Posted July 2, 2024 Just updated Firmware and UI to 5.8.4. and replaced my PLM (it was 5 years old and I have several replacements on stand-by). I am still receiving the ERROR "Add scene incomplete"?
Techman Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Are you able to see the scene in your device tree that you're trying to create?
Techman Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 (edited) After you upgraded to 5.8.4 did you clear your java cache and download the IoX Launcher? Also make sure there are no unusual characters in your scene name Edited July 2, 2024 by Techman
jpoje Posted July 2, 2024 Author Posted July 2, 2024 I just cleared cache and downloaded Launcher. Admin Console could not load nodes, do you want to close, so I closed Admin Console, then Launcher was not able to find. I power cycled PLM and eIsy and was able to bring up AC again. Tried to create scene called "house" and below is a slightly different error message regarding a config file?
Techman Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 You may have a corrupt config file. Clear your windows temporary files, you want to delete the temporary files in the attached screenshot. If that doesn't fix your issue then it's best to submit a support ticket https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets
jpoje Posted July 2, 2024 Author Posted July 2, 2024 Okay, thank you for your help. I've deleted windows temp files, still have error message, but slightly different. I will open a ticket.
