gregkinney Posted July 29 Posted July 29 (edited) I have a program which turns the volume up on my Denon receiver and another which turns the volume down, I have the spoken words as "tv volume up" and "tv volume down". Right now I have to say, "Alexa, turn on tv volume up" and "Alexa, turn on tv volume down." The spoken words are tough for family members. Does anyone have suggestions to help the illogical word combination? In a perfect world, I would say "Alexa, tv volume up" and "Alexa, tv volume down". Edited July 29 by gregkinney Quote
Solution drprm1 Posted July 29 Solution Posted July 29 Use an Alexa routine. Use whatever phrase you want to call on the program 1 Quote

The best approach woud be to use an Alexa A/V device. In Portal, Select Tool | Connectivity | Amazon Echo, click on Add, A/V Give your receiver a name, and on the Volume tab, you can assign the Volume Up and Volume Down to programs. This will allow you to says something: "Alexa, turn up the volume on <spoken>" 1 Quote
