Insteon OnOff Plug-in Module has percentages for On?

First I have noticed this. I just converted a dimmer to an OnOff module (relay contact) because it was making the motor hum. I know this is not recommended but it works for many devices that are not just a motor.

Anyway, I noticed that the On commands are now offered a parameter. In this case one is a percentage On. Looking more closely, only 0% and 100% are offered but you can set the OnOff relay module to On @ 0%.

Is this an intended thing, or some carry over from so many updates in ISY / IoX bug?

@larryllix

I just took a look at several of my ON/OFF modules and the only option was on or off, no percentage options. Did you use the REPLACE WITH option when you replaced your dimmer module with the on/off module?

Plug in On and Off module? Not one of the new dual function I3 switches that can be a dimmer or a switch?

The dual function module look like it has a triac so it can dim maybe in on off it is locked on or off. Unless they have a triac and a relay (doubt it).

Well that was my first thought that I confused the device characteristics table. I didn't use the REPLACE function, only the search and replace device name. I deleted the line and replaced it in various ways but it persists.

Note my  screen shot of the device's page. The header shows the device type while the same page shows the On percentage box.  I think I recall an old thread where there was some usefulness to have percentages instead of On/Off but very vague to me now.

Middle aged Insteon device. Newer than the ApplianceLinc, but not i3 I don't think?

OK. I found another OnOff module in my system and it shows exactly the same controls.
In the program page lines with XXX On show an option below and percentages of 0% and 100% are options there also.

Bug in the IoX system, brought in somewhere in the polISY / eISY conversion of the software?

@larryllix, I don't really see this as an issue.  Over the years I've seen numerous requests for scenes/programs that identify dimmer on levels @0%.  I don't use them, but understand that others do.  Applying a 0% level to a relay seems to be a natural extension.  If I wanted to activate a scene with a relay OFF, this would be of use.

I'll admit to not noticing this until you brought it up.  I am using the ISY994 @V5.3.4.  All of my On/Off devices show the same option for On @0%.  This includes both my most recent On/OFF modules (same vintage as yours) as well as my ancient Icon On/Off switch.  I think this has been around for some time.  We just haven't picked up on it (until you noticed).
