DJonas Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I just upgraded from an older Isy to an eisy. I had an Elk Tab on the old system. I understand that there is no tab on this plugin, but I'm pretty sure I have not completed the install. All I see in my UD interface is an Elk Controller listing and there is pretty much no information in there. I have some messages in the Polyglot 3x page. They are: Can't start elk until configuration is fixed host not defined '' ERROR: 09/24/2024 08:07:02 See log for: ELK Controller: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'panel' user_code not defined '' I'm not sure what to do about any of those. Are there step-by-step instructions for setting this up? Would like to get it running as I have a few programs that use Elk information. Thanks Quote
dbwarner5 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) Have you looked through and followed the directions on this page? https://github.com/UniversalDevicesInc-PG3/udi-poly-ELK/blob/master/README.md Host is the IP address of hte M1EXP Also be sure this box is checked. This is how mine is set up.. works great. User code is set up in ELK program. Edited September 24 by dbwarner5 Quote
DJonas Posted September 24 Author Posted September 24 That helped a lot. How do I add a wireless zone? I have Hardwired Main Bd, Hardwired Exp 2 and Wireless - Group 3. I added area 3, but I don't see the equipment. I am using input zones 1-35. Thanks Quote
DJonas Posted September 24 Author Posted September 24 I think I got it. All in Area 1. Thanks! 1 Quote
dbwarner5 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Hmm.. I have two wireless devices and they show up as any other node. -Are yours working within the Elk environment ie: on the Elk program? -are they showing in the nodes on the PGX web page? If yes to both of the above, close the AC, restart the Plug in. After fully started and all nodes are found, then try to re-open the AC and see if they show. If no to the above questions, you need to start with the first and solve that. If no to the second question, be sure your areas are defined. I am not familiar with "Group". Lastly in the AC, these items may be grouped under a name that isnt jumping out to you. Go thru your "My lighting" slowly and look for any item that you can expand that may be where the nodes are. See below screenshot. I have three groups of elk stuff. Quote
DJonas Posted September 24 Author Posted September 24 Thank you. They were there, just not obvious as you said. 1 Quote

The port is set in the ELK software for under the M1EXP. I cant remember what the default is, but I know I changed mine and then used it in the Plug in configuration. 1 Quote
