I installed 2 switchlinc relays, one for front porch, 1 for back porch.

 

Linked them to my isy-99 and everything worked good...for 1 day

 

Today, the sunset program did not work. I check the isy and there is an exclamation mark next to it and i cannot control it from the isy..says there is a communication error...

 

the other switch is fine...could it be a bad switch?

I do not think the switch can go bad so quickly. I think you may have communication/noise issues. Do you know what type of load is connected to the switch that failed? Is it possible to switch the loads between the two switches? This way, if the problem moves to the good switch, then we know that the problem is load related. Otherwise, it could be the switch.

For you rinformation, I had the same problem. I bought 2 switchlinc (insteon) in April, after 2 weeks, the 2 modules were out of order. I received 2 new modules last week & everything is ok.
