2443- 222 On/Off Micro Module Installation

I am getting ready to install a 2443-222 On/Off Micro Module behind a light switch. The light switch is in a covered patio area. Moisture is not a problem. I just would like to operate some of the outdoor patio lights from one of my indoor panels rather than having to go outside all the time to activate the lights. When I took off all the covers, I dicovered the electrician installed single-pole switches with no neutral wire in the switch outlet box. Just wondering if the neutral wire is necessary for the installation of the module. I know for many other Insteon devices the neutral wire is essential. I have not looked into how difficult it would be to install a neutral wire into the box.

Neutral wire is required to provide power to the module.

One other option may be the Insteon 2 wire dimmer switch. However it only works with incandecent bulbs or a mixture of led and incandecent.

Can you get to the fixtures? The neutral will be there in one of them and hopefully the hot and the switching wire... if so you can put the module there... and probably have more room for the micromodule. Open them up and take a look, one of them will probably have live hot and neutral and feed the others.
