Controlling RF Remotes

I have seen an implementation for controlling RF locks via ISY/PLM, but is there some more general way of operating any RF remote.

 

For instance, I have a skytech remote that operate a gas fireplace and would like to have the ability to program or turn on/off using my ISY.

Unfortunately, at the moment, we only support INSTEON devices.
