pwmcmaho Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Had a PLM that bit the dust, and got a replacement ... factory reset to be clean and then did the traditional restore. twice... Am having trouble with a program that is supposed to be triggered by a combo of a variable value and switch action (aka the "keep the nighttime lights on even when you turn some of them off via another program") ... sorry for the sarcasm this evening ... Anyhow, tried troubleshooting for a bit and decided to pop into the event view to watch the coms ... and then I noticed that the event viewer is empty ... at logging level 3 it is not showing anything when buttons on remotes are pressed, KPL or switches or ... completely dumbfounded ... or maybe not enough sleep. Thoughts? Thanks! Quote
paulbates Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Under Tools/Diagnostics there are options to see PLM links and ISY links. Can you capture and post both of those? Quote
Brian H Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago Restore or the replace PLM? If you did not use the replace function. All the old PLM links are in the modules and the new PLM will not see the messages sent to the old PLM. Paulbates tests will give you much needed information. If the information shows many links look at the back of the old PLM for its ID and see if the old PLM ID is in the displayed information. Quote
