Sever and re-establish UD Portal connection.

I am doing some troubleshooting and I was wondering how big a deal it is to cut the connection from my IoX to the UD portal, and then later reestablish it.

I have lots of IFTTT/Webhooks connections and would not want to mess those up. But can I just select the 'Revoke' button in the portal page of the Admin Console? If I do this, is it easy to reconnect? Does all the stuff I have built in the portal stay intack?

Can't do that.

If you revoke, you can't re-approve it. You will have to remove the uuid from your account and re-add it... which will also remove your Alexa/Google/IFTTT config.

Wow! I am sure happy I asked before hitting that button!! I will have to figure something else out. Maybe UD can stop the connection for me temporarily.

We can't do that. The connection is initiated from your unit.

If you really want to do that, here's some options:

- Turn your eisy off

- Disconnect eisy from network

- In your router, you may have options to prevent internet access to your eisy, under parental control

Thank you for the quick reply, but that would defeat my troubleshooting. I am working on a ticket with UD where my IoX restarts anytime internet is lost. Michel and I are running out of thoughts, but something Michel said made me think it might be related to my IoX connection to UD Portal. I realized that ever since my strange unique issue started, that I do not get the portal notifications that my IoX is offlline like I used to.  I have been working this issued for 5 months and have not come to a resolution, but am currently thinking it is related to the link between my IoX and the UD Portal, and the loss of that link that causes restart. But I would need the IoX to have network access, without portal access to interrupt network access and see if IoX restarts.

If you can think of another angle to test this, I would love to hear your thoughts.

I found your ticket and continued the conversation there.
