Rheino72 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I have a Insteon switch running a ceiling van. The switch says Model 2678IAQ-88. I can not find any info about this switch.
Brian H Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) I also searched and found it maybe a Broan exhaust fan controller. That was used in early Insteon history. I did not find the exact number you posted it the developers shipping products list but close numbers used in the Broan. I know their products where used at one time and you may find them in the modules list in the ISY device list. With the device Category of 05 and a few Subcategories. Found this in a web search from Insteon.com. Pointed out by them. Page #4 shows how it can be used with Insteon. broan-ssqtxe110-specsheet-390.pdf Edited January 28 by Brian H Add information. 1
paulbates Posted January 27 Posted January 27 What is the specific application? Does the switch simply turn the fan on and off? An Insteon on/off switch will work. I have an eisy and control 2 bathroom fans with a PS1 Insteon switches
Brian H Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Checked the device list in my ISY994i There are three devices listed for Broan. Two are fans. I suspect the switch you have was part of a exhaust fan kit with a control. 05.00 SMC080 exhaust fan and 05.02 SMC110 exhaust fan. 05.05 was a deluxe range hood.
