We have some outdoor low voltage non-smart LED lights that I'm trying to find a device I can control with my eISY.... some products have been discontinued.. curious what you all use for RBG and or white only outdoor lv lighting.... ability to turn on/off, some that can dim, etc..

FIBARO Z-Wave Plus RGBW Controller 2, Gen5  (seems to be hard to find in stock)

Zooz Z-Wave Plus S2 RGBW Dimmer ZEN31 (discontinued?)

Shelly Plus RGBW PM (not sure this is supported with eISY)

Curious what solutions you all have come up with for adding control to non-smart lv lights (ability to turn on and off for some, ability to dim for those LED's that support) ..

While not a complete answer, most such devices I have tried retain their settings when unpowered, so I just plug them into an insteon or zwave module and control power only.

I have several RGBW LED strips (indoors) that I control using Shelly RGBW2 devices, and they integrate directly with eISY just fine - though I believe the RBGW2 is an older device at this point. I'm able to turn the strips on/off via Insteon switches (which just basically turns the 24v power supplies on/off).  I have several eISY scenes setup to control colors and those can be activated a variety of ways, including virtual switches setup in eISY as well as via Alexa voice.  Additional tweaks to colors/brightness can be made via the Shelly app if needed.

I haven't tried the RGBW PM, but it doesn't look like anyone has updated the Shelly plug-in for eISY in several years. That was too much of gamble for me when I was starting to play around with LED strips, so I just went with the RGBW2. I have since setup a Home Assistant instance, and that allows for integration of eISY/Insteon as well as a broad range of Shelly devices, so I have additional options and backups for control.

In my yard utility room, I ran power to the low voltage transformer through a smart on/off wall switch.  I am currently using z-wave, but an Insteon switch (or any other controllable by eISY) would work just as well.  With my setup, I can control manually at the switch or programmatically using my eISY.  It is currently part of my sunrise/sunset program.  My setup is just on or off only.  Nothing beyond that.

Thanks... ya my use case probably a little unique...

I have a 600w 12v transformer... it is automated... but i have 3 branches coming out of the 12v to different lighting areas.... of the 3 branches I wanted to be able to turn off or dim once of the 3 branches independent of the others without getting a 2nd transformer... It seems putting a Shelly RBGW2 or similar in the line will be the solution to try out..
