someguy Posted Sunday at 05:12 PM Posted Sunday at 05:12 PM I just bought and am trying to set up the "new" Elk-7TS touchscreen keypad. I would like to try to get it so that I could check the status of a few lights or devices and potentially turn them on and off. I have tried creating some "lights" inside of the ElkRP2 and I can see these on the touchscreen, which is great, but none of them do anything. they need configuration. I believe that these should somehow make nodes in my Polisy but I haven't been able to figure out how to do so. I tried setting the nodeserver to "ELKID" and putting some "ELKID=4" in notes for devices but that didn't work either. any suggestions? Quote
Jimbo.Automates Posted Sunday at 05:23 PM Posted Sunday at 05:23 PM Did you follow all the instructions in the plugin configuration page? https://github.com/UniversalDevicesInc-PG3/udi-poly-ELK/blob/master/configdoc.md ELKID This works by right-clicking on a node in the ISY and adding a note with "ELKID=n" where n is a unique integer Then click on the "export" link provided below which will appear once your ELK is synced Note: Depending on how many devices on your IoX it may take a while to process and generate the export file. Once the file is downloaded, open ElkRP connect to your System, then right click on Automation -> Lighting and import the file. Quote
