svetter Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Hello, I am a little confused if I upgraded to IoX 6 correctly. I printed the directions pointed to by the announcement email I received, but they appeared to be more of a migration for older devices than someone who already had an eISY (which I do), so I did a backup and upgraded the packages as I would have with a minor release upgrade. After a wait, I tried to access the eISY to log into the admin console using the ISY Finder (start.jnlp). No devices were shown (figuring that the new system was web-based I opened a local browser.) When I pointed to the IP of the eISY, I wasn't prompted for my admin name and password, but for for my email address and was able to access using the ISY Portal password. There was no Home page, but nodes, programs, and plugins could be found poking around a bit. Not a very admin console looking page. I am assuming I am doing it wrong. What should be my next step? Plugins show PG3x Version 3.3.22 Quote

As often happens, you sometimes need to recreate the URL manually in IoX Finder, the first time (click on the Add button, then enter "https://<ip address>:8443/desc" ) When you pointed a browser to the IP of the eisy, you got the new eisy-ui screen. This is still in development and will eventually become the replacement for the admin console. But it's not anywhere near finished yet. No program editor, etc. yet. Right now it's more of a device dash board allowing you to see and control devices directly. 1 Quote
