python script to delete echo/alexa devices

I found this python script that seems to be able to delete alexa devices:

it looks fairly complicated to me, and Id like to know if it can see the "hidden" devices or is it just seeing the same ones that I can see in the app.

has anyone tried it or does anyone know of a better way to remove old devices (most notably those that may be trying to using the V2 skill and are clogging up our system)?
