My system consists of X 10 devices, Insteon devices with X 10 addresses and an ISY computer. I'm in the process of moving much of my system from X 10 to Insteon with ISY.

 

I want to convert some of my Insteon devices from X 10 to native Insteon. What do I need to do?

Hi Joe,

 

Insteon devices can use both the Insteon address and an assigned X10 address. You can remove an X10 address using the process described in the guides for each device or you can factory reset the device.

 

The devices can be added to the ISY as Insteon by using the Start Linking button and pressing the set button on each device.

  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
