Thursday at 10:25 PM5 days I recently migrated from ISY994i to Eisy and I was trying to clean up some old customizations that I no longer use.I used the Admin Console, went into Configuration->Emails/Notifications->CustomizationsI select one of the customizations, select Delete and it seems to go away. I also click Save. Then I switch to Settings/Groups and then back to Customizations and lo and behold the customization which I delete is back again.I made sure that the customization is not used by any program. Is there a "proper" way to delete customizations or is this a bug?
Friday at 12:52 AM5 days You followed the correct procedure. Try reboooting the eisy and if the customization is still there, at the bottom of the window click delete then click save.Let me know if that worked
Friday at 04:52 AM5 days Author No that didn't work. Every time I reboot the deleted customization is back again. If I try and delete it again and save and immediately reboot, it comes right back again.
Friday at 04:55 PM4 days @leadfoot interesting. I just created a new customization and reloaded IoX Java Admin Console and it deleted just fine. It's an outside shot, but I might clear java cache (be sure to check all 3 boxes) and download a fresh start.jnlp file (delete any old start.jnlp or admin.jnlp files). I wonder if it's a random cache/visualization bug - that has happened in the past. What IoX version are you currently running? (Please give actual number, not just "latest/current"). What Computer OS are you using?Make sure you are logged out of any PG3 or eisy_ui web interfaces while in Java Admin Console.
Friday at 06:29 PM4 days Author I cleared the java cache and downloaded a fresh start.jnlp fromhttps://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlpI'm pretty sure I am logged out of eisy-ui and PG3 sessions...I don't have any tabs open with either of them. I restarted Admin Console and tried deleting a customization again and it came back again even after rebooting. I tried using the customization I deleted in a test program and it worked. The version from the Help->About menu is 6.0.4 for UI and firmware. Is that the IoX version?I am running Windows 10I've opened a support ticket Edited Friday at 06:43 PM4 days by leadfoot added fact that I opened support ticket
Friday at 08:26 PM4 days Try to rename or modify the the customization, if successful then try to delete it.

Thanks. 2 hours ago, leadfoot said:I've opened a support ticketPlease post what support steps are completed to correct this issue, if you can. This is strange that it's unable to be deleted. How many customizations do you have? Since you mentioned you migrated from ISY994 to eisy would you also try clicking/opening each one (slowly). Then hitting save. Just close IoX Admin Console (don't reboot the device). Then log back into IoX Admin Console and try deleting again. It's a long shot, but I know that Network Resources needed to be opened and saved in the migration steps. I wonder if it might help/work on the customizations as well.
Yesterday at 01:49 AM1 day Author Support said that it was some sort of firewall issue and/or a bug with eisyui which is weird since I don't have a firewall and I don't use eisyui. I was given a workaround which was to add the following to the IoX Launcher:https://eisy.local:8443/descand use that to start Admin Console. Then I was able to remove customizations. But I was told this is a temp solution and will be removed since they are working on a fix
Yesterday at 03:10 AM1 day Eisy-ui loads when you open admin console. By using https://eisy.local:8443/desc you bypass eisy-ui. Probably a bug that needs to be fixed. When you type in https://eisy.local:8443/desc into the admin console click on save so it will be there next time you open the console.
