Posted August 28, 201015 yr How can I get information about logs? I'm trying to solve a problem and I think the logs can help me. Under User, I see System, Program and Web. What do they mean? For Log Type I get Log, -5012 and -6006. What do they represent? Thanks, Joe

August 29, 201015 yr LeeG I don't know is you noticed but the list doesn't have error -6006 in it. Edit: The -5012 is UPNP error which probably came from selecting "Enable Internet Access". Are you having a problem with internet access?
August 29, 201015 yr Mike, I am having Internet problem but it is a local issue. The phone company replaced my DSL modem recently when the old one died. They do not have the new modem user guide online yet (different manufacturer) so I have not been able to login and set up port forwarding for the ISY. Lee
August 29, 201015 yr Most of the DSL modems I have messed with are pretty poor when it comes to configuration. I prefer to have my own router which I can configure the way I want but that works best when the modem in in bridge or DMZ mode. I find UPnP to be hit or miss so static port forwarding is the way to go.
August 30, 201015 yr Is this a -60006 error? NTP SERVER NOT RESPONDING Most newer routers allow you to reserve an address in the DHCP table for specific devices based on thier MAC address. Then it is possible to forward a port to that reserved address. If you can reserve an address in the router you will not need to specify a gateway, DNS Server, etc. Some providers block access to ports 80 and 443.
