Venstar Thermostat T1800 - Remote Sensor

I just purchased two Venstar T1800 Thermostat http://www.smarthome.com/2491T7/Venstar-Thermostat-INSTEON-Remote-Control-Thermostat-7-Day-Programmable/p.aspx and they were very simple to install on my 5 wire system. I also purchased the Venstar Indoor/Outdoor Remote Temperature Wired Sensor http://www.smarthome.com/30421/Venstar-Indoor-Outdoor-Remote-Temperature-Sensor/p.aspx.

The instructions for the sensor weren't very clear so I have a question that I hope someone can answer, I originally hooked the remote sensor to the RS1 terminal of the T1800 but when I wanted to check the outside temperature it wasn't registering anything, so I decided to try the RS2 terminal and it seems to work fine. I just wanted to make sure that this is the correct way of connecting the sensor.

Thanks!

I noticed that you where asking if you could access the outdoor temp from the ISY in this post so I am guessing that the outdoor temp is working for you now but I though I would follow up.

I looked over the PDFs for the devices and I see what your saying about not giving exact terminal names to connect to. My guess is the RS1 must be a secondary "indoor" remote sensor input and the RS2 must be the "outdoor" sensor input. So if you getting a temp when displaying the outdoor temp then you must have it right.

Thanks,

It is working fine, but I just wanted to make sure that I hooked it up to the correct RS terminal on the T1800.
