This is a patched fork of J-F Tremblay's production Govee plugin (rate-limit redesign plus this heartbeat).Set custom parameter heartbeat_url to a heartbeat monitor URL (e.g. UptimeRobot heartbeat). The plugin pings it on every short poll, throttled to once per 60s, whether or not any Govee devices are on or reachable - so the monitor alerts when the plugin freezes, not when a device is off. Empty = disabled. Failures log as warnings and never break the poll loop.One tuning note if you use UptimeRobot: match the heartbeat monitor's expected interval to the plugin's actual poll interval (this fork defaults to a 15-minute short poll to respect Govee's API rate limits). Set the monitor interval to 15 minutes with a generous grace period, or you'll get false DOWN alerts.
