Names for Elk Export

Hi Michel,

 

Would there be a way to have the device names exported to the Elk be different than the name in the My Lighting list? An additional field in the notes for the device called "Elk Label" perhaps?

 

It's frustrating trying to name a device logically and still have it fit into the limited Elk template.

 

Something like that with scenes would be great as well, though I'm not sure where exactly you could specify the name to be sent.

 

I realize you can edit the file before importing into the Elk, but it would be nice to set it up once and be done with it for any subsequent export.

 

Anyhow, just an idea.

Sincere apologies for a tardy reply.

 

Perhaps we can do it with the additional ELK module we are planning. In the meantime, can't this be changed from within ELK?
