thomasolsen Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 After a power outage, ISY-26 is not working. Cycled power and unit comes back with three LEDs solid and a flashing Error light. Troubleshooting guide indicates this is a file system error, but does not report on how to proceed. As expected, unit is unresponsive from network. From what I can tell, the ISY-26 does not have a reset button like the ISY-99. Now what??
Michel Kohanim Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Hello thomasolsen, Factory reset is not going to help the situation since you have a corrupt file system and most probably a defective SD Card. This article here shows how to replace your SD Card on 99. Except for mechanical differences, all the procedural steps are the same for 26: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... an_SD_Card If you want to do a factory reset, you can use Hyperterminal to get to the Shell and then issue FR (for Factory Reset): http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... _ISY_Shell With kind regards, Michel
thomasolsen Posted December 9, 2010 Author Posted December 9, 2010 Thanks for the links -- very well put together! I am able to ping my ISY-26 (192.168.1.125) but I am not able to telnet (192.168.1.125 126, per instructions) and do not get an answer from HyperTerminal either with a null modem cable to port B on the device. Any other tricks or suggestions?
Michel Kohanim Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Hello again, If your ISY has 2.7.15, you might want to try: telnet your.isy.ip (without the 126) With kind regards, Michel
