Keypadlinc trouble

I just installed a KeypadLinc (2486D v.26), and the LED brightness setting keeps giving me trouble:

When I try to set the LED brightness via the ISY99 GUI (v.2.7.15), I receive one of various error messages and any further attempt will usually get a simple 'request failed'. The inital error messages I received so far include 'SID not found', 'couldn´t open file', and after closing and reopening the browser/admin console, 'request failed' right away.

The 'open file' messages are for /conf/fyp.cfg and /conf/web.cfg.

The log does not show any entry for the failed requests.

I have to assume the KPL works otherwise normally since it gets recognized by the ISY when discovered via Start Linking, it executes other commands like setting the Ramp Rate or Dimmer Brightness via GUI, and it can trigger programs.

I already tried (repeatedly) removing the KPL from MyLighting, factory resetting it and re-adding, to no avail. Additional ISY reboots etc, also didn't help.

Is there anything else I could try?

Hello horz,

 

Unfortunately LED brightness function is only supported in KPL versions 2A and above.

 

You can safely ignore the other error messages (which are suppressed in 2.8.0 and above).
