pgreen Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 I have several of these 2457D2s and for the most part they have worked great. Recently I have had two of these units fail such that with the ISY 99i can still see and 'control' (LED turns green and red with on and off commands) them. However there is no longer any control of the power out of the 2457D2. The attached device always remains on no matter what the 2457D2 reports to the ISY or the colour of the LEDs on the 2457D2. I have reset the 2457D2 and I still have the same problem. I have 3 other units that work without any issues. Any recommendations? Is this an dead box? LeeG Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 Unplug the device for an hour giving it plenty of time to eliminate any heat that may have built up. If the load remains On the only thing left is to try a factory reset and see if the load can be controlled. It sounds like the electronic component that dims the load has shorted. Only correction is to have SH replace the unit. They should be under warrantee as those devices have not been available for 2 years.
