rlgeltman Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 I have lost the ability to run the administrative console using any Mac or Windows7 browser. On Mac OS 10.6 the Java console gives the following message: load: class com.universaldevices.client.ui.UDClientApplet.class not found. java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.universaldevices.client.ui.UDClientApplet.class at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.findClass(AppletClassLoader.java:211) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:307) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadClass(AppletClassLoader.java:144) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:248) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadCode(AppletClassLoader.java:662) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.createApplet(AppletPanel.java:785) at sun.plugin.AppletViewer.createApplet(AppletViewer.java:2354) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.runLoader(AppletPanel.java:714) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(AppletPanel.java:368) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:680) When I'm local, there's no problem at all. What do I do here. Sorry if this has been addressed endlessly--- I can't find the answer in the forums. Richard
Michel Kohanim Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Hello Richard, In most cases, probably the IP address of your ISP has changed. If you have set up remote access using File | Enable Internet Access, then please use File | Disable Internet Access and then enable it again. It's always best to use a combination of static IP address and Dynamic DNS so that changes in IP would not affect you: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... o_Your_ISY With kind regards, Michel
